The head of a building inspection company at the center of a building-structure data falsification scandal pointed a finger at a rival inspection company Nov. 29.

Various individuals connected with the data falsification scandal wait Nov. 29 to present their testimony before the Diet. |
eHomes told the Diet that Japan ERI had known about the scandal involving architect Hidetsugu Aneha one year ago and had covered up the false quake-resistance structural data compiled by him.
eHomes President Togo Fujita made the remark at a House of Representatives committee meeting on the structural data falsification case that has shaken Japan's real estate industry since its revelation Nov. 17.
Fujita said eHomes was told by an architect in October that Aneha falsified data about one year ago for a property whose inspection would be conducted by Japan ERI.
Japan ERI "covered up" its knowledge about the falsification, Fujita said, adding that Aneha later confessed to him that he had falsified data.
Following the unsworn testimony by Fujita, Japan ERI flatly denied the allegation as groundless
