Japan takes bronze in gymnastics

Olympic champion Japan was unable to overcome a poor start and had to settle for the bronze medal in the men's team final at the gymnastics world championships in Denmark on Oct. 17. China managed a remarkable comeback to take the gold medal with a total of 277.775 points, while Russia took the silver medal with 275.400 and Japan came third with 274.800. (Kyodo)
