Alonso crowned F1 champion
Fernando Alonso became a Formula One champion for the second-straight time Oct. 22 with a runner-up finish to Felipe Massa at the Brazilian Grand Prix in Interlagos. Last year, the 25-year-old Spaniard became F1's youngest champion by finishing third. Meanwhile Massa became the first Brazilian to win the event since 1993. (AP)
