Priest tried for Rwandan massacre

A U.N. court trying leaders of Rwanda's 1994 genocide jailed a former Catholic priest, Athanase Seromba, for 15 years Dec. 13 for ordering bulldozers to level a church, leading to the death of 2,000 people inside. The people were Tutsis, hiding from machete-wielding Hutu gangs. (Reuters)
