Moriya admits to golf outings

Former Vice Defense Minister Takemasa Moriya told the Diet on Oct. 29 that a number of politicians were entertained by Motonobu Miyazaki, a former executive of defense equipment supplier Yamada Corp. Moriya said he himself had played golf with Miyazaki more than 200 times. Sources said Moriya also played golf with a former Fujitsu executive, who paid for Moriya. The executive is now at Fujitsu Tokki Systems, which specializes in defense engineering. (Kyodo)
