Man drops young boy off overpass
A 3-year-old was seriously injured Jan. 17 when a repeat kidnapper grabbed him and dropped him off an overpass onto a road from a height of 6.4 meters in Yao, Osaka Prefecture. The man admitted attacking the boy and said, "I felt frustrated with my job and was feeling irritated." The man has been involved in at least six kidnappings, mostly targeting young children. (Kyodo)
