Nakamura named SPL Player of the Year
|

Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura was named the Scottish Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year on April 22. Nakamura has played in all of Celtic's 34 league matches this season and scored nine goals, including the one that sealed Celtic's second-straight Scottish Premier League title in a dramatic 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock earlier in the day. Nakamura has since said he will remain with Celtic for the next season. (Kyodo)
