Boy accidentally shot with father's rifle

A 2-year-old boy died Dec. 9 in an accidental shooting involving a rifle at his home in Meguro Ward, Tokyo. The boy was shot after he and his brother entered the living room where their father was cleaning four guns. The father, a 39-year-old doctor, left the room briefly, and in that time one of the guns went off. The older, 5-year-old brother may have pulled the trigger accidentally. (Kyodo)
