Three tragedies hit Russia in five days

Russia is mourning 108 miners killed in the country's worst mining disaster in more than 10 years. About 200 workers were in the Siberian mine at the time of the blast, which occurred March 19 at a depth of 270 meters. Russia also suffered two other tragedies — a fire at a nursing home in southern Russia that left 63 dead March 20, and a plane crash in Samara in central Russia that killed six March 17. (AP)
