Floods cause major damage in North Korea

Floods in North Korea have left at least 200 people dead or missing, sources said Aug. 14. The floods have destroyed about 30,000 homes and affected 63,300 people. A tenth of the country's farmland has also been washed away
North Korea is already suffering from a famine that has killed about 2 million people, but with the floods coming during planting season, living conditions will quickly become worse. (AP)
