Former President Ford passes away
Former U.S. President Gerald R. Ford, who declared "Our long national nightmare is over'' as he replaced Richard Nixon, died Dec. 26. He was 93. Ford's funeral was held in Washington on Jan. 2. He was buried in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. (AP)
