U.S. President George W. Bush said Jan. 10 that he will send 21,500 more troops to Iraq, pushing the American presence there to its highest level. He also acknowledged for the first time that he had made mistakes in Iraq. "Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me," he said. (AP)
