Most high school students can't find Iraq

Only 26 percent of Japanese high school students could find Iraq on a map, a survey showed March 19. In the same survey, the high school students were asked where Miyazaki Prefecture was located on a map of Japan. More than half of the students failed, even though it is widely featured in the media. 多数の高校生がイラクの位置答えられず
イラクの位置を地図上で正確に示せる高校生はわずか26%、また半分以上の高校生は宮崎県の正確な位置が分からないということが日本地理学会の調査で分かった。
