Man kills family with sledgehammer
Police found four members of a family murdered at their home in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, on June 24. Yoshio Kiuchi, 77, has admitted to killing his wife, his son, his daughter-in-law and his 4-year-old granddaughter with a sledgehammer. Kiuchi had reportedly been experiencing some health problems, which had caused tensions with family members at home. (Kyodo News, AP)
