Crocs-wearing girl loses toe in Singapore

A 4-year-old Japanese girl who was wearing Crocs Inc. rubber shoes lost her toe after her shoe became stuck in an escalator at a Singapore shopping mall in September, her father said Oct. 7.
He says he will sue the company for compensation.
The incident is the latest in a series of accidents involving children wearing the popular brand of shoes. (Kyodo News)
