Sources reveal more on lottery murder

A 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of killing a woman who won 200 yen million in a lottery in Iwate Prefecture in 2005 owed the woman tens of millions of yen and killed her because she demanded repayment, sources said Oct. 25. The man was a former boyfriend of the woman, and gave some of the money he borrowed to another woman. (Kyodo News)
