'Mount Fuji' license plates launched
The Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectural transport authorities started accepting applications for new license plates stating "Mount Fuji" as the place of issue. Local governments around Mount Fuji have been asking the government to use the landmark as an issuing place to promote the world-famous mountain further. (Kyodo News)
