Athlete pulls out of polluted Olympics
World record holder Haile Gebrselassie of Ethiopia will not take part in the Beijing Olympics marathon, his agent said March 10. Gebrselassie is concerned that the pollution will endanger his health. The International Olympic Committee has also said it may cancel marathons because of pollution. (AP)
