Pavarotti lip-synched last performance

Tenor Luciano Pavarotti lip-synched his final performance because cancer was causing him intense pain, sources said April 7. The orchestra and Pavarotti recorded Giacomo Puccini's "Nessun Dorma" separately and then pretended to perform it at the opening of the Winter Olympic Games in Turin in 2006.
