Baseball: Yankees game begins in space

New York Yankees officials organized for NASA astronaut Garrett Reisman in the International Space Station to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the opening of a two-game series against the Boston Red Sox on April 16. They also ordered workers to dig a Red Sox jersey out from under their new stadium. It had been put there as a curse by a Red Sox fan. (AP)
