Philippines bans kidney transplants

Foreigners will be banned from receiving kidneys for transplant in the Philippines to stop the country from becoming a major center for organ transplants. Many poor people are selling their organs cheaply, and these organs are going to rich foreigners, mostly from Japan, Europe and the Middle East. (AP)
