Iceland most peaceful country in world

Iceland came top of a list of the world's most peaceful countries May 20. The survey by the Economist Intelligence Unit ranked 140 countries according to how peaceful they were domestically and how they interacted with the outside world. New Zealand was fourth, Australia was 27th, Britain was 49th and the United States was 97th, below Libya and Cuba. Iraq was 140th. Japan was fifth. (AP)
平和度調査、1位はアイスランド、日本は5位
英調査機関などが世界の140ヵ国を「平和な順」にランキング。その結果、最も平和な国となったのがアイスランドで、最下位はイラク。日本は5位となった。
