Use of doggy bags finds wide favor
|
|
Ninety percent of people in a recent survey are in favor of taking home leftover food from restaurants, the nonprofit group DoggyBag Committee said Jan. 26. The Tokyo group conducted the survey of 332 people in Tokyo, Kansai and Chubu between late November and early December. The people surveyed ranged from teenagers to people in their 70s. The group found that 299 respondents, or 90 percent, approved of using doggy bags, saying to do otherwise was wasteful. (Kyodo News)
