Inter signs Nagatomo

World club champion Inter Milan said Jan. 31 it has signed Yuto Nagatomo on loan from Serie A rival Cesena.

Davide Santon has moved to Cesena, also on loan, as part of the deal.

"Last Saturday he won the 2011 Asian Cup under the guidance of ex-Inter coach Alberto Zaccheroni, whom (Inter president) Massimo Moratti and the club would like to congratulate," Inter said on its website.

"Our new signing played a decisive role in the final against Australia, providing the cross for Tadanari Lee to score the winner." (Kyodo News, AP)
