|
|
NTT DoCoMo Inc. said Dec. 21 that a problem with an Internet service called sp mode for smartphones may have hampered email delivery for as many as 100,000 customers since Dec. 20. The company partially suspended the service after customers, mostly in western Japan, complained Dec. 20 that replying to email messages caused the return addresses to be changed. DoCoMo said the trouble occurred when a worker accidentally cut a cable that was part of a relay system in western Japan. (Kyodo News)
