戦争が起きれば・・・

アメリカでは昔から人種、社会的地位階級などの違いが生む争いが絶えない。しかし同時多発テロ以来人々はこぞって遺族に寄付をしたり、国旗を掲げるなど、国民として団結の姿勢を見せ、タリバンとの戦いを進めたブッシュ大統領の人気も高まった。アメリカ国民が団結するには、戦う対象が必要なようだ。
