Japan ranks 15th among 122 countries in the World Economic Forum's first Human Capital Index report on countries' abilities to develop and deploy healthy, educated and able workers, the forum said Oct. 1.
According to the WEF, Japan is strong at creating a favorable environment for the workforce, and at workforce training.
However, Japanese workers have high levels of stress and depression, and the nation is just 65th in terms of attracting talent from other countries, the report said. (The Japan Times)
