Korea leaders agree to meet in person: Seoul

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has agreed to hold a landmark summit meeting with South Korea's president in April, and to impose a moratorium on nuclear and missile tests if the North holds talks with the United States, a senior South Korean official said March 6.

Chung Eui-yong, South Korea's presidential national security di-rector, said the two Koreas also will set up a "hotline" communi-cation channel to lower military tensions, and would speak to-gether before the planned sum-mit in late April. (AP)
