Labor authorities conducted an on-site inspection Oct. 14 at the Tokyo headquarters of advertising giant Dentsu Inc. in the wake of the suicide of a 24-year-old female employee last December deemed to be from overwork.
The suicide of Matsuri Takahashi, who joined Dentsu in April 2015, was recognized in September as a case of death from overwork. In October, she worked some 105 hours of overtime. (Kyodo)
