Miyagi to pull 'sexist' PR video after complaints

The Miyagi Prefectural Government agreed to remove an online tourism promotional video that has been criticized as sexually suggestive.
The prefecture said Aug. 21 it planned to pull the video ad within the week, amid constant complaints. The video featured model and actress Dan Mitsu parting her lips and petting an animated turtle's head.
"We need to be considerate toward those who are unhappy" about the video, said Gov. Yoshihiro Murai, who earlier had defended the video. (Kyodo)
