Kodaira gets 1st career PGA win in S Carolina

Satoshi Kodaira came from six shots back to defeat Kim Si-woo of South Korea on a third extra hole to win the RBC Heritage in South Carolina on April 15, his first title on the PGA Tour.

The 28-year-old Kodaira, who in Japan has six career victories and finished second on the money list last year, became the first player from Japan to win the RBC Heritage, and the fifth to win an event on the U.S. men’s pro tour.

"When I waited in the clubhouse I never imagined this would happen," said Kodaira. (Kyodo)
