A subway train got a faulty "go" signal before it plowed into another train in Seoul, slightly injuring more than 240 people, the subway operator said May 3.
Investigations are ongoing, but the automatic distance control system is thought to have malfunctioned, Chang Jung-woo, CEO of Seoul Metro, told reporters.
The driver of the moving train tried to brake, but couldn't stop in time, Chang said. (AP)
