The United Nations says 6 billion of the world's 7 billion people have mobile phones — but only 4.5 billion have access to toilets. So the U.N. is trying to boost sanitation for the 2.5 billion who still lack such basic facilities. U.N. Deputy Secretary General Jan Eliasson said the issue must be addressed immediately. The international organization aims to halve the proportion of people without access to sanitation by the end of 2015. (AP)
