チューインガム禁止令の緩和

シンガポールでは、10年前からチューインガムの輸入、製造、販売、ポイ捨てが法律で禁じられていました。かんだガムが公共の場を汚し、それを取り除くために膨大な費用がかかったためです。ところが先日、米国との間で自由貿易協定がほぼ合意に達し、一定の条件付きでガムの輸入が許可されることになりました。
