有権者の審判

民主党の圧倒的勝利に終わった8月30日の衆院選。 日本が抱えるさまざまな問題に有効な手を打てなかったリーダーに対する有権者の怒りが爆発したのだ。 未成熟と言われてきた日本の民主主義が、この選挙でしっかりと日本社会に根を下ろしたのだと筆者は考えている。
