Man held for burning his house; 4 dead

Police arrested a 40-year-old man July 6 for allegedly setting fire to his own home in Kitsuki, Oita Prefecture, where four bodies, believed to be his children, were found in the wreckage.
Kenichiro Suemune, a member of the Maritime Self-Defense Force, admitted to committing arson, investigators said. Four of his eight children have been missing since late July 5 after the fire gutted their two-story house.
Suemune, his wife and their 3-year-old daughter had been rushed to a hospital and do not have serious injuries. (Kyodo)
