Hillary Rodham Clinton broke her silence March 10 on a controversy that has cast a cloud on her likely presidential candidacy, defiantly saying she did nothing improper in exclusively using a private account for official emails while secretary of state.
"I fully complied with every rule I was governed by," Clinton said in New York in her first comments on the controversy. She conceded that she should have used a government account.
She and former President Bill Clinton have long been dogged by ethics and secrecy questions. (AP)
