The daughter of imprisoned ex-President Alberto Fujimori conceded defeat to conservative economist Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on June 10, ending five days of suspense over Peru's closest presidential election in decades.
Keiko Fujimori, 41, had been favored to win the presidential runoff after topping a crowded field of candidates in the first round by almost 20 points.
But she was damaged by news that her party's secretary-general was being investigated by U.S. drug authorities for alleged money laundering. (AP)
