Body of Japanese diver found near Bali

The body of a Japanese scuba diver was found Feb. 18 near the Indonesian resort island of Bali, a day after five other Japanese di-vers were rescued from a reef 20 km away from their last dive site, officials said.

The body has been identified as that of Ritsuko Miyata, 59.

The search continues for Shoko Takahashi, a 35-year-old local diving instructor and the only member of the diving party who remains unaccounted for.

The divers drifted from their dive site Feb. 14 and became sep-arated, officials said. (Kyodo)
