Westminster Bridge attacker Khalid Masood sent a WhatsApp message that cannot be accessed because it was encrypted by the popular messaging service, said British Home Secretary Amber Rudd on March 26.
British media reports suggest Masood used the messaging service minutes before his rampage March 22, which killed three pedestrians and one police officer, and wounded dozens more.
"We need to make sure that organizations like WhatsApp" don't let terrorists communicate secretly, Rudd said. (AP)
