Obama heralds unprecedented climate plan

U.S. President Barack Obama unveiled a plan to dramatically cut emissions from U.S. power plants, as he warned that climate change poses a grave danger.

Obama said Aug. 3 that the plan's unprecedented carbon dioxide limits are "the single most important step" America has ever taken to fight climate change.

"There is such a thing as being too late when it comes to climate change," Obama said. (AP)
