|
Researchers at Nagoya University said Sept. 10 they have discovered a natural diamond for the first time in Japan in volcanic rock in Ehime Prefecture. It was originally thought that diamonds do not occur naturally in Japan. The discovered diamond cannot be observed even using a microscope as its size is about one-thousandth of a millimeter. (Kyodo)
