Copy of Magna Carta to go on sale

A 13th-century copy of the Magna Carta will be auctioned in New York in December, sources said Sept. 25. Britain's King John agreed to the charter in 1215, which guaranteed due process to freemen, including a right to a speedy trial before a jury. The copy is expected to sell for around $30 million (¥3.5 billion).(AP)
