North Korea fired two short-range missiles into the sea March 3 in the second such launch in less than a week, amid ongoing annual military exercises between Seoul and Washington, South Korean officials said.
The launches appear to be the North's protest of the drills, which it calls preparation for an attack, and a test of its weapons systems. South Korea earlier announced that the North had Feb. 27 fired four Scud missiles. (AP)
