U.S. President Barack Obama vowed Feb. 11 to come down like "a ton of bricks" on firms that violate sanctions against Iran, speaking at a White House news conference with French President Francois Hollande.
The United States and France are among countries that have signed an interim agreement that would halt Iran's nuclear program and ease some international sanctions. However, Obama said that if companies violate sanctions that are still in place, "We will come down on them like a ton of bricks." (AP)
