An independence vote set for November in Spain’s powerful Catalonia region was suspended Sept. 29, as Spain’s constitutional court waits to hear the government’s legal case against the vote.
The central government says the planned referendum would be illegal.
The court will hear the arguments and make a decision, the court said. That process could take months or years. (AP)
