Fighters win first place in regular season

Kensuke Tanaka and Fernando Seguignol both hit solo home runs in the fourth inning Sept. 27 to rally the Nippon Ham Fighters, which won 4-1 over the Softbank Hawks. With this win, Nippon Ham secured first place in the regular season and will receive a bye in the first stage of October's Pacific League playoffs. (Kyodo)
