Olympic torch ceremony interrupted
Protests against China's human rights record disrupted ceremonies to light the Olympic flame for the Beijing Games on March 24.
Three men from a media rights group broke into the ceremonies in Ancient Olympia, Greece, while Beijing Olympics organizer Liu Qi was making a speech. They demanded a boycott of the Games.
The torch's journey to Beijing will continue as planned. It will be the longest ever, lasting 130 days, covering 137,000 kilometers — and even going up Mt. Everest. (AP)
