Napster gets into Japanese market

Internet music download company Napster started a Japanese service Oct. 3 aimed at getting into the growing demand for download music in Japan and catching up with Apple's iTunes. The service, which is allied with Tower Records, offers more than 1.5 million Japanese and foreign tunes. Japan is the world's second-largest music market. (AP)
