Go Postal

This expression comes from an incident in America where a postal worker shot a number of his coworkers. As a result, "going postal" means losing control and becoming dangerous, usually because you are under a lot of stress. If someone goes postal, it does not, however, mean that they necessarily injure or kill someone.
